Swollen thorn pairs are occupied by specialised species of plant-ants. [3087]
In Kenya four ant species of the genus Crematogaster are reported. [3087]
Crematogaster mimosae occupies almost 50% of trees at one Kenyan site. [3087]
The three other ant species occupy different trees at one Kenyan site. [3087]
Crematogaster sjostedti also occupies Acacia seyal. [3087]
