  A white balsam 'myroxocarpin' is made from the fruit. [3127]
  Extract called 'balsamito' comes from the young fruit. [3127]
  Crude balsam is a contact allergen which may cause dermatitis. [3127]
  Essential oil is used for skin care and various body systems in aromatherapy. [3127]
  Crude balsam is used in cough syrup and other medicinals. [3127]
