  Ohashi has determined the type of S.siamensis (K) as A.ferruginea. [3047]
  There is also Shuteria ferruginea (=Pueraria ferruginea, =S.hirsuta, q.v.). [3047]
  Nguyen van Thuan synonymised S.siamensis with Amphicarpaea edgeworthii, [1942]
  probably wrongly. [1942]
  He also synonymised A.ferruginea with Shuteria hirsuta; this is wrong, [1942]
  according to notes on material at Kew. [1942]
